Let us introduce you to Bophut Beach, Samui's fisherman's village; maps, hotels, info, guide and photos of this quiet beach and its charming fisherman's village

Not far from Maenam is Bophut Beach, a two-kilometre sandy shoreline fringed by coconut palms leaning over the sea.

This is a very nice village, remained typical with beautiful wooden houses, a good atmosphere of fisherman's small village and the beach with a magnificent sight on the island of Koh Pha-Ngan.

Bophut beach, the ideal place if you look for rest and intimacy...

With its calm waters, Bophut is also ideal for swimming and snorkeling.

And at the west end of Bophut is perhaps one of the oldest places on the island, the Fisherman's Village. The nostalgic wooden houses and small local shops here remind one of days gone by.

The "main street" along the beach is not longer than a kilometre but is rich in style and variety of shops, from the oldest local shop selling anything and nothing, to the most elegant restaurant. Each of these shops offers a unique touch.

About accommodation, Bophut is provided with charming bungalows or hotels for all the tastes and all the budgets.

Bophut is a good compromise, because rather close to Chaweng, you take a taxi or hire a vehicle and in 10 tiny minutes you are in the heart of the animation!

Good holidays!
